2012 Junior State Titles
U14 Beach Relay Team - State Champions..

These boys had an excellent year in the relays. They won the relay at the Normanville carnival and they won the relay at the Glenelg carnival. So coming into the State Carnival at Seacliff on Sunday the 18th of March the boys had a fair bit of pressure on them to keep up the winning form. There were 4 heats, their 1st heat they won by almost the whole length of the track getting them into the semi-final. The semi was a tight tussle between themselves and their nemesis Moana. Normanville were leading the whole race until the last few meters where Moana pipped them at the post. Both teams were in the final and it was a run off between them.
Connor started off brilliantly and was in the lead when handing over to Chris who kept the pace up nicely. Joe had an excellent run and a smooth handover to Dylan who lit up the course to succeed and win the State Championships for the under 14’s in SA. To say they were happy would be an understatement.
